Return Policy Document

Solar Village Energy offers a 3-day return policy for marketplace items and a 7-day return policy for official Solar Village Energy store items, if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, for items where you have simply changed your mind, you can return them within 4 days, but this doesn't apply to certain categories of items shipped from abroad.  You must return items in their original packaging with all accessories, tags, and labels intact. 

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Return Windows:

• Marketplace Items: 3 days from the delivery date.
• Official Solar Village Store Items: 7 days from the delivery date.
• Change of Mind (for eligible items): 4 days from delivery. 

 

Reasons for Returns:

• Defective or Damaged Items: SolarVillage Energy accepts returns for items received in a damaged or defective condition, or if they are not the item you ordered.
• Incorrect Items: If you receive the wrong item, it can be returned.
• Change of Mind (Eligible Items): If you simply don't want the item, you can return it within the 4-day period (excluding the non-returnable categories). 

 

Return Conditions:

• Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, tags, and labels.
• Password Removal: If the item is a device, any passwords should be removed. 

 

How to Return:

1. Go to your Solar Village Energy account and navigate to "Orders" . 

1. Select the item you wish to return and click "Request a Return" . 

1. Choose your return method: Solar Village Energy can collect the item or you can drop it off at a designated pickup station. 

1. Review and submit your return request . 

 

Refund Process:

• Solar Village Energy's after-sales team will verify your claim.
• If the claim is valid, a refund will be processed.
• The refund process can take 1-8 working days. 

 

Important Notes:

• Solar Village Energy global items are not eligible for returns due to change of mind. 
• Certain categories are non-returnable, such as: product with void or tampered warranty.

Solar System Warranty Exclusions & Installation Requirements

• Inverter – Warranty Will Expire If:
  • The inverter was not properly commissioned “Programmed”;
  • Incorrect cable, breakers, fuses size and type are used;
  • Block the ventilation of the inverter leading to thermal damage;
  • Reverse DC polarity of battery or Solar Panels in the inverter (+Pos and -Neg);
  • Incorrect grounding, use common neutral between “inverter input neutral, inverter output neutral, Nepa neutral and load neutral”, or crossed AC phases “because of NEPA”;

• No Surge Protection Devices (SPDs) are installed, and surge damage occurs as a result of “lightning”.

 

 

• Battery – Warranty Will Expire If:
  • The battery is installed incorrectly or misconfigured;
  • It is overcharged, deeply discharged, or short-circuited due to misuse;
  • It is connected to incompatible inverters or non-approved chargers;
  • There is no communication between the inverter and the battery, and between batteries in parallel cases (e.g., via CAN, or RS485)

 

 

• Solar Panels – Warranty Will Expire If:
  • Panels are physically damaged due to;
  • Mishandling during installation or transport. o Theft, fire, or accidents;
  • Lightning strikes, hail, floods, or storms;
  • Installation is improper (e.g., loose mounting structures, poor wiring);
  • Performance is affected due to excessive shading, dirt, dust;
  • The panel is modified, drilled into, or repaired by third parties.

 

 

• Common Conditions (Inverter & Battery) – Warranty Will Expire If:
  • The serial number sticker is removed or tampered with;
  • The inverter or battery is opened, tampered with, or repaired by unauthorized personnel;
  • The unit suffers physical damage, water ingress, fire, flood, overhead damage, or corrosion due to installation in unapproved areas (not meeting the required IP rating);
  • Connect the inverter to a non-compatible battery, or connect the battery to an incompatible inverter.
